Welcome, Lev!
I'm very excited to announce the birth of Lev Otto Bucholz. He decided he'd be more comfortable sitting upright as Anya went into labor, but everything went fine and Anya's recovering nicely. A big fat middle finger to the cab driver who took one look at Anya and refused to let us in the cab to go to the hospital. He drove off as I scrambled to dial 999 and get an ambulance for us.
But all is well that ends well and this birth ended very well. Mom and baby are healthy and happy. Here's a video of Lev, about 3 minutes old, in my arms for the first time.
